For each of us it happened at least once to break or damage a family heirloom or a memory to which we hold particularly, whether the pot or the glass of the service of the mother, the marble top of the antique dresser, vase of crystal or precious chandelier drops … often the solutions that we consider are only two: or storing and hide the damaged object, or, more dramatically, throw it away. Many people do not know the possibility of a third solution: the RESTORATION. This is one of the old crafts that is disappearing – the restorer of porcelain, pottery, ceramics, glass and marble – and is almost unknown. Few people know that if the rim of the glass jar breaks, you can grind and eliminate the damage, if the drops of crystal chandelier break, you can restore them, and we can do the same with marble, ceramics and porcelain.
