Paintings
Our master restorer acts on the painting only after having performed a deep study on it, in order to select the most appropriate technique to use. Restoring the painting is a long process, to avoid damages on the painting patina of time. First, the master restorer needs to strengthen the canvas and eventually perform actions on the damaged parts; if necessary, the frame is replaced. The old protective paints are gently removed with suitable solvents. Then, the master restorer proceeds in evaluating specific actions on the canvas if colors are lost, canvas is damaged and so on. Every restored piece comes together with a documentation on the kind of actions performed on it and materials used. Do you have a painting to be restored?
